We ship all orders via USPS or UPS to confirmed addresses only. We will not drop ship orders for any reason. What this means is we'll only ship your order to your credit card billing address or PayPal confirmed address. If you need your Credit Card order shipped to an alternate address you'll need to contact your credit card company and register this alternate address with them and then place your order using the alternate address as your billing and shipping address. We will not accept PayPal payments from members that don't have a confirmed address registered with PayPal.
All orders are shipped within 3-5 business days with delivery confirmation or proof of delivery to your address. All orders over $100 will be shipped with signature required. Someone will need to be present to sign for your order. Orders returned as undeliverable will be charged shipping and handling fees.
Our online store is operated from a secure warehouse that is not open to the public. Local customers wishing to purchase our online items may do so on the web or by visiting our store and paying in advance for their item(s) to be delivered to the store. Customers can pick up their orders once they arrive (typically 3-5 business days). We do not charge shipping for orders placed and paid in our store.
Orders that are missing items or short must be reported within 24 hours after delivery.
If you receive an item that is defective or needs to be returned we require that you first obtain an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number and this number must be on the return shipping label or written clearly on the box. Items returned without an RMA number written on the box will be refused. To obtain an RMA number please contact our RMA department at returns@discountcomputerwarehouse.com
All of our items indication how long our items are warranted and who is responsible for the warranty. Items saying the warranty is handled by the dealer are covered by us, Discount Computer Warehouse for the duration of the warranty specified. Items labeled warranty handled by manufacturer require that you contact the manufacturer for warranty issues. Discount Computer Warehouse does not cover warranties handled by the manufacturer.
All returned items must be shipped freight prepaid, insured and traceable. All returns must be in the condition received, unused and must include all accessories, cables, software and documentation. Items received incomplete will not be processed. Items received physically damaged will not be processed. Any damage caused by the shipping carrier will be subject to their damage claim policy and liability doesn't extend to Discount Computer Warehouse for carrier damages. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Original shipping, handling and low order fees are not refundable.
Discount Computer Warehouse is never liable for direct or consequential damages caused by defective equipment, inappropriate installations, poor documentation or any other reason. The consumer assumes all risks and holds Discount Computer Warehouse harmless for injuries, property damage or liability from any item purchased.
